The Baylor Interns in England (BIIE) and Baylor Emerging Education Scholars in England (BEESE) programs offer an incredible opportunity for undergraduate senior education majors and graduate students to immerse themselves in an international teaching and research experience. Through hands-on engagement in English partnership schools, participants will compare and contrast the U.K. and U.S. educational systems while developing and teaching lessons, conducting research, and collaborating with educators from both countries. The program also features international comparative education seminars and rich discussions, equipping students with a global perspective on teaching and learning.
Set in the culturally vibrant London/Kingston-Upon-Thames area, this program runs from November into early December, allowing students to experience a one-of-a-kind Thanksgiving celebration in England and explore the festive Christmas markets. With weekends and the final week open for independent travel, participants can explore the U.K. and beyond, making this an unforgettable academic and cultural adventure.
Cost: $4,500 program fee; additional expenses for independent travel and purchases will apply.
