Baylor education expert Dr. Suzanne Nesmith offers helpful tips on how to enjoy the eclipse with children and help them understand it. Dr. Nesmith is associate dean and associate professor in the School of Education, specializing in elementary science education.

Mayborn Eclipse Training Sign up
Training includes background information, techniques, and tips for teachers to host and facilitate day-of-eclipse programming. Training is a 1-hour presentation from Alan Small, STEM Programs Coordinator at the Mayborn Museum, to be held on-site at your school during a staff meeting or professional development day.
Each school will receive resources including Solar eclipse viewing glasses for each student at your campus, Eclipse activity guides, and passes to the Mayborn for students.
