For more than 100 years Baylor educators have carried the mission and practices of the School of Education to classrooms and beyond as teachers, superintendents, psychologists, health education professionals, academics/scholars and more. With more than 60 full-time faculty members, the school's growing research portfolio complements its long-standing commitment to excellence in teaching and student mentoring.

Baylor's undergraduate program in teacher education, enrolling approximately 400 students, has earned the School of Education national distinction for its innovative partnerships with local schools that provide future teachers deep clinical preparation. A growing number of graduate programs allow students to pursue advanced study and professional preparation in Master’s, Ed.S., Ed.D. and Ph.D. programs.
Through exciting new academic initiatives both at home and abroad, the school has entered into a period of significant expansion and of deepened impact through the production of meaningful, high-quality research and the preparation of outstanding leaders, teachers and clinicians.
