Caitlyn Whitman
Administrative Director & Assistant to the Dean
Caitlyn Whitman is administrative director and assistant to the Dean of the School of Education. Ms. Whitman manages schedules, meetings, and conferences for SOE Dean Shanna Hagan-Burke, along with other responsibilities for management of the Dean's Office.
Prior to this position, Ms. Whitman worked in the School of Education as office manager for the Learning Resources Center (LRC), where she assisted students, faculty, and staff of the SOE in attaining the teaching resources, learning materials, state testing files, and much more to ensure their success. Prior to that position, she worked in the School of Education assisting with various tasks including administrative and financial work, support of the faculty and graduate students, and coordination of summer camps and events.
Ms. Whitman is a recent graduate of Texas Tech University in Waco with a bachelor’s degree in general studies. She has resided and worked in the Waco area her entire life and is thankful to be a part of the Baylor family.
