Tanner Osborn
Technology Facilities & Resources Manager
Tanner Osborn oversees the technology needs of Baylor School of Education faculty, staff, and students. He also acts as a liaison between the SOE and other technology entities at Baylor. Tanner's goal is to help the SOE operate at peak efficiency and productivity. He ensures the school stays on the leading edge of academic technology by anticipating needs based on trends in education and consulting on effective applications of various technologies.
Tanner received his BA in Film and Digital Media from Baylor in 2011. During undergrad, Tanner worked as a technology assistant in the SOE Media Center. It was here that he developed a passion for academic technology support. Tanner joined the Baylor Libraries in 2012 as an academic technology consultant. Over the next seven years, he tended to academic hardware and software needs across campus, introduced virtual reality into course curriculum, and helped launch the makerspace in Moody Library.
Aside from his work responsibilities, Tanner serves as the faculty advisor for the Baylor Virtual Reality Club.
